Apple Pie in a Pan
RECIPE EASY SKILLET APPLE RECIPE

Ingredients
- sugar
- 2 pound granny smith apples
- 2 pound braeburn apples
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¾ cup granulated cup butter
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1(14.1-oz package refrigerated pie crust
- 1 egg white
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- Whipped cream and sliced .
How to make the apple pie.
Step 1: Hot the oven to 350 degrees. Peel apples and cut into ½-inch thick wedges and toss apples
Step 2: over heat, melt butter in a cast-iron skillet. Add brown sugar and cook. Stir constantly for about 1 to 2 minutes or until the sugar dissolves. Then, remove from the heat and put 1 piecrust in skillet over brown sugar mixture.
Step 3: Spoon apple mixture over piecrust and top with leftover piecrust.
Step 4: whisk egg white until it foams and brush the piecrust with egg white. Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar. Cut 4 or 5 slits in top for steam to escape.
Step 4: Bake the pie at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 10 minutes or until the pie is golden brown and bubbly. Protect the pis with aluminum foil during the last 10 minutes to avoid extra browning if it necessary. Let the pie coolon a wire rack for 30 minutes before serving.
Step 5: Serve with oreo ice cream.
