Baked Mac!

Two-Cheese Mac and Cheese
Ready in 20 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces of large elbows macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons of canola oil
  • 3 garlic cloves,crushed
  • 2 ¼  cups of unsalted chick as Swanson] , divided
  • 8 teaspoons all - purpose flour
  • 4 ounces ⅓ less-fat cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
  • Cooking spray
  • 3 ounces of extra- sharp cheddar cheese shredded [ about ¾ of a cup]
Preparation

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions,canceling  salt and fat; drain it. Then set aside
  2. Preheat broiler to high
  3. Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat.Add oil to the pan;swirl to coat. Add garlic to pan; cook for 3 mins or until garlic is frequently [ Shouldn’t be brown]. Then stir in 1 cup stock; bring to boil.
  4. Cook for 1 min. Next  add remaining 1 ¼ cups stock, milk and flour.
  5. Stir it up with a whisk until the mixture is smooth. Add this mix to the garlic and boil and whisk for 5 mins.
  6. Turn off the heat and add cream cheese, salt and pepper, and stir until it is smooth.
  7. Toss is pasta and mix together.
  8. Place in a baking tray and sprinkle with cheese. Broil for 3 minutes in the broiler.
