Baked Mac!

Serves 6 people
Ingredients
- 10 ounces of large elbows macaroni
- 2 tablespoons of canola oil
- 3 garlic cloves,crushed
- 2 ¼ cups of unsalted chick as Swanson] , divided
- 8 teaspoons all - purpose flour
- 4 ounces ⅓ less-fat cream cheese
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
- Cooking spray
- 3 ounces of extra- sharp cheddar cheese shredded [ about ¾ of a cup]
Preparation
- Cook pasta according to package directions,canceling salt and fat; drain it. Then set aside
- Preheat broiler to high
- Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat.Add oil to the pan;swirl to coat. Add garlic to pan; cook for 3 mins or until garlic is frequently [ Shouldn’t be brown]. Then stir in 1 cup stock; bring to boil.
- Cook for 1 min. Next add remaining 1 ¼ cups stock, milk and flour.
- Stir it up with a whisk until the mixture is smooth. Add this mix to the garlic and boil and whisk for 5 mins.
- Turn off the heat and add cream cheese, salt and pepper, and stir until it is smooth.
- Toss is pasta and mix together.
- Place in a baking tray and sprinkle with cheese. Broil for 3 minutes in the broiler.
