OREO CAKE

Serves 12 people
Ingredients
- ¾ Cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ Cup cocoa powder
- ½ plus ⅛ tspn baking soda
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ½ plus 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ cup plus 2 tbsp sour cream
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- *cherry on top
Preparation
- Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 350 degress. Line bottom of a 9 - inch cake pan with parchment paper and lightly coat the inside with non-stick pan spray. Sift flour , cocoa, baking soda, and salt into large bowl; set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk sugar,sour cream, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Whisk wet ingredients into dry ingredients until smooth. Pour batter into pan and bake until golden. Let cool on pan for 15 m , then let cool on wire rack for 1h.
- Carefully cut into as many pieces as needed and set aside.
- Put a cherry(s) on top (wash the cherry(s)before putting on cake).
